Vijay Swaminathan

Vijay Swaminathan is a seasoned Sr. Principal Product Manager at Oracle, with a Dual Major in Marketing and Information Systems from ISB. He has deep expertise in the area of product management and excels in driving the product strategy, vision, road-map that is inline with the organization goals, market trends, customer demands, and requirements of key stakeholders. Over the last 15+ years, Vijay has developed a deep understanding of ERP softwares that drives and fulfills the supply chain requirements for some of the global fortune 500 companies. At Oracle, he is currently engaged in driving the product management activities and design for creating a seamless and scalable enterprise-grade omni-channel Order Management and Fulfillment system that meets the global demands of various large and medium sized businesses.

With extensive experience in agile methodologies and a certification from scrum.org as a Professional Scrum Product Owner, he is engaged in the design and development of software that closely follows the scrum and agile principles. His background spans system analysis, design, Java/J2EE development, data modelling, SQL optimization, and both functional and automated testing.Vijay’s expertise includes product planning, research, management, cloud computing, and system design & architecture. He is proficient in Jira, Java, SQL, Angular (V2.0+), Spring Boot, Spring REST, Spring Security, and Oracle Fusion Middleware.

Outside of work, Vijay enjoys mentoring aspiring product managers, exploring the latest advancements in technology, and participating in community tech meetups to share his insights and experiences.
